You can print a nozzle check pattern to check for clogged nozzles using the printer’s buttons or your software. Make sure the front tray is in the lower (paper) position.
1. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder.
3. Hold down thepaper button as you press the
power button to turn the printer back on. Hold down both buttons until the printer turns on, then release the buttons.

2. Windows:
Right-click theprinter icon in the bottom right corner of your screen (the taskbar) and select Nozzle Check.
Macintosh:
Open the Applications folder, open EPSON Printer Utility3, select your printer (if necessary), and click OK. Then select Nozzle Check.
3. Click Print.
5. If there are no gaps, click Finish.
