Check the Messages on the LCD Display Screen
Follow the instructions on the LCD display screen to solve most common problems. If you see one of the error messages below, follow the steps here to proceed.
Turn the product off, make sure no paper is jammed inside, then turn it back on. If the error is not resolved, contact Epson for help.
Cannot recognize photos. Make sure photos are placed correctly. See your documentation.

The printer’s ink pads are nearing the end of their service life. Please contact Epson Support.
Contact Epson to replace the ink pads before the end of their service life. When the ink pads are saturated, the product stops and service is required to continue printing.

Error in the data. The document cannot be printed. The data is not available because of a malfunction in the sending device.
Error in the data. The document may not be printed correctly. A part of the data is corrupted or cannot be buffered.
