Replace Ink Cartridges
Your Artisan 810 Series and its software will let you know when an ink cartridge is low or expended.
If an ink cartridge is low or expended, you see a message on the Artisan 810 Series display screen.
You cannot print or copy when an ink cartridge is expended even if the other cartridges are not expended. Replace any expended cartridges before printing or copying. You can still scan, fax, and view photos on the LCD display.
Note:
When black ink is low, you will see a message when you print from your computer (using Windows). You can select to save black ink (when you print text on plain paper) by using a mixture of colors to create black.
When an installed ink cartridge is more than six months old, you may need to replace it if your printouts do not look their best, even after cleaning and aligning the print head.
