For best printing results, use up a cartridge within six months of opening the package. If you need to replace a cartridge when the 
ink light flashes or is off, you can run the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility.

Windows: Right-click the
 printer icon in the bottom right corner of your screen (the taskbar) and select Printer Settings. Then click the Maintenance tab. |
Macintosh: Open the Applications folder, open the EPSON Printer Utility 2, select CX7400 Series, and click OK.

Click the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility icon and follow the on-screen instructions to replace your ink cartridges as necessary.
