Ethernet interface
Your printer is equipped with a USB interface and an Ethernet interface.
The printer’s built-in USB interface is based on the standards specified in the Universal Serial Bus Specifications Revision 2.0, the Universal Serial Bus Specification Revision 1.1, and the Universal Serial Bus Device Class Definition for Printing Devices Version 1.1. This interface has the following characteristics.

To use the printer’s USB interface, your computer must be equipped with a USB port and running Windows 2000, XP, XP x64, or Mac OS X 10.3.9 to 10.4.x.

The printer has a built-in Ethernet interface. Use a 10Base-T and 100Base-TX STP (shielded twisted-pair) cable via the RJ-45 connector to connect to the network.
