Canceling Printing

Using the control panel buttons
For Windows XP and 2000
For Macintosh OS X

If you encounter problems while printing, you may need to cancel printing. To cancel printing, follow the instructions in the appropriate section below.

Using the control panel buttons

Press the paper button while printing to cancel the printing of a print job.

For Windows XP and 2000

When you send a print job to the printer, the Progress Meter will appear on your computer screen.

Click the Stop button to cancel printing.

For Macintosh OS X

Follow the steps below to cancel a print job.

Click the Print Center icon or the icon for your printer in the Dock.

Press the power button to turn off the printer.

In the Printer List, double-click Stylus Photo R1800.

In the Document Name list, select the document which is printing, then click the Delete button to cancel the print job.
