Transporting the Stylus Photo RX600

If you need to transport the Stylus Photo RX600, carefully repack it using the original box (or a similar box that it fits snugly into) and packing materials as follows:

Caution:
  • When storing or transporting the Stylus Photo RX600, avoid tilting it, placing it vertically or turning it upside down; otherwise ink may leak from the cartridges.
  • Leave the ink cartridges in their installed positions when transporting the Stylus Photo RX600; removing the cartridges for transportation may damage it.

Remove all paper from the sheet feeder and make sure that the Stylus Photo RX600 is off.

Open the scanner unit and make sure that the print head is in the home position on the right. Remove the print head transportation lock from its storage position.

Install it in the secure position and close the scanner unit.

Open the document cover and slide the transportation lock lever, as shown in the illustration below, to lock the scanner carriage.

Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and the USB cable from your computer, then unplug the TPU cable from the TPU interface connector.
Connecting and Disconnecting the USB Cable

Remove the paper support and close the output tray.

Attach the protective materials to both sides of the Stylus Photo RX600, then repack it in the box.

Keep the Stylus Photo RX600 on a flat surface to protect it from shocks during transportation.

Note:
Do no forget to remove the transportation lock and protective materials from the Stylus Photo RX600 before using it again.
