Using the Stylus RIP Professional with Macintosh
You can make the following printer driver settings in the Print dialog box. To open this dialog box, click the File menu of the application that you are using, and then select Print. Alternatively, you can also press the COMMAND and P keys on the keyboard simultaneously to open this dialog box.
Once the dialog box appears, click the pop-up menu located below the Printer pop-up menu, and then select the printer-specific options setup page to display the settings for the selected printer.

Specify the type of paper that you are using for printing and the print quality.
Set the print resolution. Note that not all resolution settings can be selected, depending on the Media Type setting.
Specify whether to print in color or grayscale.
Specify whether to use bi-directional printing. When bi-directional printing is turned on, the printing speed increases.
Specify whether to turn the Super MicroWeave feature on for superior print quality.
Specify whether roll paper is automatically cut after the document is printed. This setting is effective only if the optional Auto Cutter is installed.

Specify whether the print direction is automatically rotated depending on the width of the rolled paper set under the Paper Source setting. Turning this setting on helps to economize on the use of paper. Select the option with appropriate width value to turn this setting on.
Specify whether to print page lines on the right side and bottom end of the document so that you can use them as guidelines when cutting the document manually.
Specify the color space of RGB colors to be simulated when printing RGB color data.
Specify the ink colors to be simulated when printing CMYK color data.
Specify the type of data to be printed using only black ink when you are printing the gray part of color data.
Set the priorities for deciding which properties of a color specification to preserve and which to sacrifice. This function enables better color rendering within the practical limitations of the color reproduction capabilities of the printer.
The available options and their typical uses are as follows:
Perceptual: Scanned images
Relative colormetric: Vector graphics
Saturation: Business graphics
Absolute colormetric: Logos and solid colors that require exact reproduction across different media
Select the desired paper feed method from the pop-up menu.
Specify whether to exclude printing a four-corner margin for single form paper, and left and right margins for rolled paper. To specify this setting, it is necessary to set a custom paper size.
