Place Documents on the Scanner Glass

You can place documents up to letter- or A4-size on the scanner glass.

Note:
You can also copy a book or other thick document up to about 1/2 inch (12 mm) thick.

1.	Open the document cover.

2.	Place your original document face-down on the scanner glass with the top against the back left corner.

3.	Close the document cover gently to keep your document in place.

Once the original document is loaded, you can copy, scan, or fax.
