Fax a Document or Photo

You can send faxes from the product’s control panel or from a Windows or Macintosh® computer by entering the fax numbers or selecting entries from a speed dial list. You can customize the fax header information, get a printed fax report, and select various send/receive settings. You can also set up your product to automatically receive faxes or select to receive them only when you’ve confirmed that you’re receiving a fax.

Note:
If you want to receive faxes, make sure AutoAnswer is turned on by pressing the  (Auto Answer) button. The green light next to Auto Answer turns on. You see a message telling you to load paper for fax printing in the main tray.
