Projector Setup Settings - ECO Menu

Settings on the ECO menu let you customize projector functions to save power. When you select a power-saving setting, a leaf icon appears next to the menu item.



Setting Options Description
Brightness Settings Light Source Mode

Brightness Level

Constant Brightness

Estimated Remains

Selects the brightness mode of the projector laser
Light Source Mode: sets the brightness for the laser; the following settings are available:
  • Normal: sets maximum brightness level
  • Quiet: reduces laser brightness to 70% with reduced fan noise
  • Extended: reduces laser brightness to 70% and saves power and laser life
  • Custom: allows you to select a custom brightness level

Brightness Level: allows you to select a custom brightness level

Constant Brightness: maintains a constant brightness level

Estimated Remains: estimates how long the projector can maintain a constant brightness level

Sleep Mode On

Off

Automatically places the projector in standby mode after an interval of inactivity
Sleep Mode Timer 1 to 30 minutes Sets the interval for Sleep Mode
A/V Mute Timer On

Off

Automatically turns off the projector after 30 minutes if A/V Mute is enabled
Standby Mode Standby Mode

Port

Communication On: indicates that the projector can be monitored and controlled over a network when the projector is in standby mode; enable this setting to allow the following operations to occur when the projector is in standby mode:
  • Monitor and control the projector over a network
  • Output audio and video to an external device (A/V Output must be set to Always On)

Port: selects the Wired LAN or Wireless LAN port to use while the Standby Mode setting is set to Communication On

ECO Display On

Off

Displays a leaf icon in the bottom left corner of the projected screen to indicate the power-saving status when the laser brightness changes
Note: The Light Source Mode setting is disabled if you turn on the Multi-Projection setting in the Extended menu.
