Projector Setup Settings - Extended Menu

Settings on the Extended menu let you customize various projector setup features that control its operation.

Adjusts settings on the Home Screen

Home Screen Auto Disp.: controls whether the Home screen displays automatically when the projector is turned on

Custom Function 1 and Custom Function 2: let you customize the options displayed on the Home screen and save your settings as a preset

Selects various display options

Messages: controls whether messages are displayed on the screen

Display Background: selects the screen color or logo to display when no signal is received

Startup Screen: controls whether a special screen appears when the projector starts up

Standby Confirmation: sets whether to show a confirmation screen before turning off the projector

Panel Alignment: Corrects color misalignment in the projected image

Color Uniformity: adjusts the color tone balance

Selects the way the projector faces the screen so the image is oriented correctly

Selects various operation options

Direct Power On: turns on the projector when you plug it in

Sleep Mode: select On to place the projector in standby mode after a certain interval of inactivity

Sleep Mode Timer: sets the sleep mode internal between 1 and 30 minutes

Illumination: turns off the indicators on the projector

High Altitude Mode: regulates the projector’s operating temperature at altitudes above 4921 feet (1500 m)

Quick Startup: the projector enters this mode when you turn it off; you can start projecting in about five seconds by pressing the  Power button

USB Power in Standby: Sends power to the connected device even if the projector is in standby mode (when the power is off). If the internal temperature of the projector gets too high, the power supply may stop automatically.

This feature is not available in all countries.

Log Save Destination: sets where you want to save the internal projector information logs

Standby Mode Communication On

Allows the projector to be monitored over a network even when turned off
Language Various languages available Selects the language for projector menu and message displays
