Storing the Paper Basket

You should store the paper basket whenever you do the following:
  • You are not using the basket
  • You are loading paper
  • You are moving the printer
  1. Lift the basket roll.


  2. While holding the button on the right hand side of the basket roll, move the basket towards the printer to take up the cloth. You can wind the cloth evenly by feeding the bottom of the cloth over the frame.


    Note: The hand strap for the paper basket is only available on the SureColor P9500 Series. Hold the paper basket by the ends when lifting and moving the basket.
  3. Place the basket roll on the front legs of the stand.


  4. Slightly rotate the basket roll counter-clockwise to release tension on the roll and prevent stretching.


  5. If there are wrinkles in the cloth, smooth it as shown to prevent it from becoming deformed during storage.
