Deletes all information
from the optional print server.
Non-Secure (Quick): Deletes file management information for data on the hard disk. Select this option when you want to use the printer with a hard disk that has been used with other printers. Secure (Quick): Overwrites the entire hard disk with a random character pattern. However, it is possible that data could be recovered using a dedicated data recovery tool. Secure (Sanitizing): Overwrites data on the hard disk with random 00/FF data, and then checks it using an algorithm based on the U.S Department of Defense standard (DoD5220-22m). Select this option when you need to erase confidential data. |
