Loading Media in the Front Paper Feeder

You can load fine art media, poster boards, and other thick media in the front paper feeder. You can load papers up to 0.011 inch (0.3 mm) thick.
Note: Leave at least the following amount of space behind the printer for ejected paper:

SureColor P700: 13 inches (330 mm)

SureColor P900: 16 inches (405 mm)



  1. Select Paper Setting on the LCD screen.


  2. Select Front Paper Feeder - Fine Art or Front Paper Feeder - Poster Board.
  3. Pull out the front paper feeder as instructed on the LCD screen.
  4. Follow the rest of the on-screen instructions to load paper.
  5. When prompted by the LCD screen, select the size and type of the paper you loaded.
Always follow these paper loading guidelines:
  • Load only one sheet at a time.
  • Load fine art media short edge first, no matter which way your document faces.
  • Load the printable side faceup.
  • Check the paper package for any additional loading instructions.
