To
use the projector over a wireless network, install the Epson
802.11b/g/n wireless LAN module in the projector (Epson 880X or Home Cinema 880). Do not install any
other type of wireless module.
Note: The
wireless LAN module is not included with the Epson
880X and Home Cinema 880 and is optional. If you want to use the wireless LAN module at the same time as
the streaming media player included with the Epson 880X, you will
have to connect the streaming media player to a DC 5V/2A USB power
source. The wireless LAN module is not recommended for use with
streaming video content.
Note: You do
not need the wireless LAN module for the Home
Cinema 1080 since the wireless functionality is
built-in.
- Remove the wireless LAN module cover screw.
- Insert the wireless LAN module into the USB-A port.
- Attach the wireless LAN module cover and secure it using the screw you removed.
The
light on the wireless LAN module turns on when the module is
installed and operating. The light flashes when the module is
communicating over the network.
Caution:
Never remove the wireless LAN module
while its indicator is blue or flashing, or while you are
projecting wirelessly. This could damage the module or lose
data.
