Focusing the Image

Wait at least 30 minutes after you start projecting to adjust the focus.
  1. Turn on the projector and display an image.
  2. Press the Menu button.
  3. Select the Installation menu and press  Enter.


  4. Select Test Pattern and press  Enter.
    Note: If Screen Type is set to 16:9, select the test pattern, then press  Enter to display the pattern you want.
  5. Open the front cover.


  6. Move the focus lever and adjust the focus using the center reference point of the projected screen.


  7. Once the center reference point is in focus, check that the corner reference points are also in focus.
    Note: If any areas are out of focus, use the focus lever to adjust the focus until the corners appear the same.
  8. To remove the test pattern, press Esc.
