To
use the projector over a wireless network, install the Epson
802.11b/g/n wireless LAN module in the projector (PowerLite X49/W49/118/119W/982W). Do not install any
other type of wireless module.
Note: The
wireless LAN module is not included with your projector and is
optional.
Note: You do
not need the wireless LAN module for the PowerLite
992F/1288 since the wireless functionality is
built-in.
- Remove the wireless LAN module cover screw.
- Insert the wireless LAN module into the USB-A port.

Attach the wireless LAN module cover and
secure it using the screw you removed.
Note: The wireless LAN module cover may be provided with the optional wireless LAN module instead of the projector.
The
light on the wireless LAN module turns on when the module is
installed and operating. The light flashes when the module is
communicating over the network.
Caution:
Never remove the wireless LAN module
while its indicator is blue or flashing, or while you are
projecting wirelessly. This could damage the module or lose
data.
