Shutting Off the Picture and Sound Temporarily (Shutter)

You can temporarily turn off the projected picture and sound using a mechanical shutter if you want to redirect your audience's attention during a presentation. Any sound or video action continues to run, however, so you cannot resume projection at the point that you stopped it (EB-PU2213B/EB-PU2216B/EB-PU2220B).
Note: If the picture and sound are off for more than 2 hours, the power automatically turns off. You can disable the Shutter Timer setting in the Extended Menu to turn off this feature.
  1. Press the A/V Mute button on the remote control to temporarily stop projection and mute any sound.

  2. To turn the picture and sound back on, press the A/V Mute button again.
Note: To fade the image in and out when you use Shutter, turn on the Fade-out and/or Fade-in settings in the Extended menu.
Note: If you selected Shutter as the Shutter Release setting in the Extended menu, you can still control the projector while Shutter is enabled.
Note: Enable the Startup and Standby settings if you want to activate the shutter when the projector turns on or off. Select Last Used for the Standby setting if you want to maintain the current shutter status when you turn off the projector.
