You can set
the product to automatically check and clean the print head before
printing using the control panel on your product. The product will
automatically detect clogged nozzles and run the head cleaning
procedure until the nozzles are clear.
Note: Because
Auto Cleaning may repeat head cleaning multiple times, it may take
longer and use more ink than performing a Print Head
Cleaning.
- Press the
home button, if
necessary. - Select Auto Cleaning.
- Select Start to clean
the print head. When the cleaning cycle is finished, you see
a message on the LCD screen.
Caution:Never turn off the product or open the front cover during a cleaning cycle or you may not be able to print.
- Select Yes to print a nozzle check pattern and follow the on-screen instructions.
