Setting Up Web API

You can setup Web API from the projector menu and operate the projector using Web API.
Note: You can authenticate Web API communications using API authentication (Digest authentication). The user name for API authentication is EPSONWEB; use the password that is set for Web Control Password.
  1. Turn on the projector, if necessary.
  2. Press the Menu button on the projector or remote control.
  3. Select the Network menu and press Enter.
  4. Select Network Settings > Projector Control.
    Note: If the Remote Password and the Web Control Password have not been set, a screen appears prompting you to set them. Enter passwords up to 32 characters long. These passwords are used for accessing the projector over a network, and you do not need to enter them to access the Network Settings menu after you set them.
  5. Select Web API Settings and then set Web API to On.
