Inserting Slipsheets

You can insert slipsheets (dividers) into or between your copies. You can specify the page numbers where slipsheets are inserted and select a different paper type for them.
  1. Place your originals on the ADF.
  2. Press the  home button, if necessary.
  3. Select Copy.
  4. Select Advanced > Cover & Slip Sheet.
  5. Select End of Job or End of Set, enable the setting and then specify any other settings as necessary.

If you want to specify the page to insert the slipsheet, select End of Page or Chapter and specify any other settings as necessary.

    • If you are inserting a blank slipsheet, select Not Set, specify the page to insert a slipsheet before as the Page setting, and set the Print setting to Off.
    • If you are using the same paper as the copies for a slipsheet, select Not Set, specify the page to insert a slipsheet before as the Page setting, and set the Mode setting to Chapter.
    • If you are using different paper than the copies as the slipsheet, select the paper source for the paper in Paper Setting (Slip Sheet) and select Not Set. Specify the page to insert a slipsheet before and then set the Mode setting to Slip Sheet.
  6. Specify the number of copies.
Note: If you selected End of Page or Chapter, we recommend enabling Proof Copy to check the first copy before printing the remaining copies.
  7. When you are ready to copy, select the Copy icon.
