If you use
the Panel Lock or Lock Setting features to restrict access to
certain settings, you can allow individual settings to be changed
without administrative access.
On the product control panel, select Settings > General Settings > System Administration > Security Settings > Restrictions.
For each setting, allow access without logging in as an
administrator by selecting On.
Job Log
Access: Allows users to view the status monitor's job
history.
Access to
Register/Delete Contacts: Allows users to register, edit, or
delete contacts.
Fax Recent
Access: Allows users to view recent fax destinations when
sending a fax.
Fax Transmission
Log Access: Allows users to view the communication history
of a fax.
Access to Fax
Report: Allows users to print the fax report.
Access to Print
Save History of Scan to Network Folder/FTP: Allows users to
print a report of previous scans saved to a network folder.
Access to Recent
of Scan to Email: Allows users to display a list of recent
scan to email activity.
Access to Show
Sent History of Scan to Email: Allows users to print a list
of scan to email activity.
Access to Print
Sent History of Scan to Email: Allows users to print a
report of previous scan to email activity.
Access to
Language: Allows users to change the display language.
Access to Thick
Paper: Allows users to change the thick paper settings.
Access to Quiet
Mode: Allows users to enable or disable Quiet Mode.
Access to Print
Speed Priority: Allows users to change the print speed
priority settings.
Protection of
Personal Data: Hides the destination folder path when saving
data to a location.
Accept Power
Off: Allows users to turn the printer off using the power
button.
