You can set
the product to automatically check and clean the print head before
printing using the control panel on your product. The product will
automatically detect clogged nozzles and run the head cleaning
procedure until the nozzles are clear.
Note: Because
Auto Cleaning may repeat head cleaning multiple times, it may take
longer and use more ink than performing a Print Head
Cleaning.
- Press the
home button, if
necessary. - Select Settings > General Settings > System Administration > Print Head Cleaning Settings > Auto Cleaning.
- Toggle the Before
Printing or After Printing
settings to set when you want the product to check for clogged
nozzles and perform print head cleaning, if needed.
Never turn off the product or open the front cover during a cleaning cycle or you may not be able to print.
