The light on the projector indicates the projector status and
lets you know when a problem occurs. Check the status and color of
the light and look for a solution in the tables here.

The projector is warming up or updating the firmware.
The remote control may not function if the status indicator is
flashing blue. |
| Off |
The projector is in standby or sleep mode. When you
press the power button on the projector or remote, projection
begins. |
| Orange |
Projector is too hot and has turned off.
- Let the projector cool down for at least five minutes
- Make sure that the vents and air filter are not clogged with
dust or obstructed by nearby objects.
- Clean or replace the air filter.
- Make sure the environmental temperature is not too hot.
- If the problem persists, unplug the projector and contact Epson
for help.
