If
the projector does not respond to remote control commands, try the
following steps until the problem is solved.
Note: If you lose the remote control, you can
order another one. Contact Epson for help.
-
Check that the remote control batteries are installed
correctly and have power. If necessary, replace the
batteries.
- Check to see if a button on the remote control is stuck
down, causing it to enter sleep mode. Release the button to wake
the remote control up.
- If the pairing screen is displayed, perform pairing again
by holding down the
home button and
esc button on the remote
control at the same time for about three seconds.
- If the projector does not display the remote pairing
screen, perform pairing again by displaying the paring screen
manually from the Remotes &
Accessories menu using the arrow and enter keys on a USB
keyboard connecting to the projector's USB port.
- If the image is projected from the projector, make sure
you are operating the remote control within the reception angle and
range of the projector.
- Strong fluorescent lighting, direct sunlight, or infrared
device signals may be interfering with the projector's remote
receivers. Dim the lights or move the projector away from the sun
or interfering equipment.
