System Administration menu

Accept Unknown User Jobs: When this is set to Off, you cannot print from drivers that cannot or do not have authentication information. |

Admin Settings | Admin Password:
Changes the password and restores the default settings.
Lock Setting: When On, items such as Network Settings, System Administration, and Sleep Timer can be changed only by the person who is logged on at the home screen. See the online Administrator's Guide for detailed information. |

Password Encryption | Set On to encrypt the password. | |
Format the Optional storage unit | Secure (Quick) | Uses a text pattern to randomly overwrite the entire SSD Unit. |
Secure (Sanitizing) | Overwrites data with random 00/FF/ data and then checks using an algorithm based on the U.S. Department of Defense standard (DoD5220-22M). This option takes longer than the others to finish formatting, however it does provide the securest method of erasing data. Select this when you need to erase confidential data. | |
Disable the Optional storage unit | – | Select this when you need to remove the optional storage unit. |
