Signal Menu

The projector detects and optimizes the input signal settings automatically. If you need to customize the settings, you can use the Signal menu. The available settings depend on the currently selected input source. The settings are saved separately for each selected input source.

Hides images in the specified area
Use the arrow buttons on the control panel or remote control to adjust the area. You can hide up to half of the projected image in each direction (except for one pixel).
Note: This setting is only displayed when the Content Playback setting is set to Off in the projector's Settings menu.
Color Space Various settings available Switches the color space that can handle the color information of the input image

Select Auto to apply a suitable color space for the AVI InfoFrame of the image

HLG Setting

Sets the video range to match the setting of input source

Dynamic Range: changes the range of dark and bright areas in the image (set to Auto for most cases)

Signal Status: displays the detected input signal

HDR10 Setting: adjusts the PQ curve of the dynamic range in the HDR PQ (Perceptual Quantizer) method (available only when Dynamic Range or Signal Status is set to HDR10)

HLG Setting: adjusts the HLG curve of the dynamic range in the HDR HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) method (available only when Dynamic Range or Signal Status is set to HLG)
Note: HLG HDR is for Broadcast content only.
Advanced > Video Range Limited (16-235)

Full (0-255)

Sets the video range to match the setting of input source from the HDMI port

Limited (16-235): for the color tone range 16 to 235

Full (0-255): for the color tone range 0 to 255

Advanced > EDID EDID Mode

Reset

Describes the display capabilities of your projector (if images are not displayed correctly, you may be able to display them by changing this setting)

Even if you setup multiple displays with different resolutions, you can set the same EDID as the standard display and switch the EDID of the current source to unify the EDID across the displays.

You can set the EDID options as a batch using preset values. The following settings are saved in the preset options:
  • Resolution
  • Refresh Rate
  • Color Depth
You can change the preset settings, if necessary.

Select Reset to reset all adjustment values for EDID to their default values.

Advanced > Image Processing Auto (ALLM)

Fine

Fast

Improves the response speed for images projected at high speed (only available when EDID Mode is set to Up to 4K 120Hz 40Gbps or 2560x1080(21:9))

The Source device enables ALLM. If the source supports ALLM, then the ALLM feature should be listed as "on" in the projector's Info menu.

Auto (ALLM): automatically adjusts the response speed according to your projected content

Fine: improves the response speed for images (Frame Interpolation in the Image menu must be turned off)

Fast: disables the Frame Interpolation setting

Reset Resets all the adjustment values (except for the EDID settings) in the Signal menu back to the default settings
