You can
enable Wi-Fi Direct mode to allow direct communication between your
product and computer or other devices without a wireless router or
access point.
Note: This setting
can be locked by an administrator. If you cannot access or change
this setting, contact your administrator for assistance.
- Press the
home button, if necessary.
- Select the
network icon.
Note: Icon may
look different depending on connection status.
- Select
Wi-Fi Direct > Start Setup > Connect
to Computer > Start
Setup.
Wi-Fi Direct is enabled, and the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and
password are displayed.
Note: If Wi-Fi
Direct is already enabled, the network name (SSID), password,
number of connected devices, and general procedures for setting up
other devices are displayed.
- Use your
computer or wireless device to select the Wi-Fi network name (SSID)
displayed on the LCD screen, then enter the password
shown.
- When a connection is established,
select Complete to finish.
- Select Close on the LCD screen to close the network
connection settings screen or press the
home button to exit.
You see the

Wi-Fi Direct icon on the LCD
screen. You should be able to connect to your product directly from
your computer or device, and then print. If you are printing from a
computer, make sure you installed the network software from the
Epson website.
Note: If you don't
see the

Wi-Fi Direct icon on the LCD
screen, you may have selected the wrong network name or entered the
password incorrectly. Repeat these steps to try again.
Any connected devices will be
disconnected when you turn off the printer. To reconnect after
turning the printer back on, repeat these steps.
