Accessing the Web Config Utility

You can select your product's network settings and confirm its operating status using a web browser. You do this by accessing your product's built-in Web Config utility from a computer or other device that is connected to the same network as your product.
  1. Check the control panel for the product's IP address ( Menu > General Settings > Network Settings > Wired LAN Status).
  2. On a computer or other device connected to the same network as your product, open a web browser.
  3. Enter your product's IP address into the address bar and press .
    You see the available Web Config utility options.
    Note: The administrator password is required to access the full capabilities of the Web Config utility. The default password is found on the label inside the left maintenance cover. If the label says "PASSWORD", the initial password is indicated in A below. If the label does not say "PASSWORD", the initial password is the product's serial number (B below). The default user name is blank.
