Transporting the CX6600

If you need to transport the CX6600, carefully repack it using the original box (or a similar box that the CX6600 fits snugly into) and packing materials as follows:

Remove all paper from the sheet feeder and make sure that the CX6600 is off.

Open the scanner unit and make sure that the print head is in the home position on the right. Secure the ink cartridges to the CX6600 with a tape, then close the scanner unit.

Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and the USB cable from your computer if connected.

Connecting and Disconnecting the USB Cable

Remove the paper support and the feeder guard. Push the output extension tray in.

Attach the protective materials to both sides of the CX6600, then repack the CX6600 and attachments in the box.

Keep the CX6600 on a flat surface to protect it from shocks during transportation.

Note:

Do no forget to remove the protective materials and tape from the CX6600 before using it again.
