Getting Started With iLabel

Follow the instructions in these sections to get started with iLabel.

Installing iLabel

Download the Epson iLabel app from the Google Play Store or the App StoreSM.

Starting iLabel

You can launch the iLabel app from your home screen or app drawer.
  1. Locate the iLabel icon on the home screen or app drawer.
  2. Tap the iLabel icon to launch the app.

Setting Preferences in iLabel

You can set app and printing preferences in iLabel.
  1. Tap the icon. You see a screen like this:


  2. Choose the default preferences.
    Printer Select a printer from the available printers
    Margins Sets the width of the label margins. Selecting Minimum cuts the label close to the content. Selecting Standard leaves more white space between the content and the label edge.
    Tape Cut Sets whether to cut the tape automatically after printing a label
    Half Cut Sets whether to cut half the height of the tape automatically after printing. Not available on all printers.
    Print Speed Sets the printer's output speed. Not available on all printers.
    Copies Sets the number of copies to print
    Density Sets the density of the printed label
    Tape Feed Ejects tape without printing on it
    Tape Feed and Cut Ejects tape without printing on it and cuts the tape automatically
  3. Tap Close. You return to the previous screen.
