Scanning Basics / Basic Scanning Procedure

Overview of the Basic Procedure

This section outlines the basic scanning procedure using a TWAIN-compliant application. For more details, see Scanning an Image.

Make sure the scanner's power cord is plugged in.

Place your documents face down on the document table.

Start a TWAIN-compliant application.

Select Import from the File menu, and then select EPSON Perfection 2400.

Full Auto Mode:
EPSON Scan automatically previews the images and recognizes the document source and type. Images are automatically optimized and scanned.

Home Mode or Professional Mode:
Make settings to optimize images and then click Scan.

The scanned images are opened in your application.

Save the scanned images in your application.
