Scanning Basics / Basic Scanning Procedure

Basic Scanning from Applications

Follow these steps to scan from a TWAIN-compliant application:

Turn on the scanner.

Place your document, photo, or film on the scanner.

Start a TWAIN-compliant application (such as Adobe^® Photoshop^®).

In the application, open EPSON Scan. (You may need to choose Import from the File menu or your application may have an Import menu. Make sure you choose EPSON Perfection 3200 as the source. See your application's help or documentation for details.)

Full Auto Mode:
EPSON Scan automatically previews the image and recognizes the document source and type. The image is automatically optimized and scanned.

Home Mode or Professional Mode:
Make basic settings, optimize the image manually, and then click Scan.

The scanned image is sent to the application.

Save the scanned image in your application.
