Scanning to ArcSoft PhotoImpression

1.	Place the document face-down on the glass, in the top, left corner as described in Placing Your Original Document.

2.	Double-click the  EPSON Smart Panel icon on your desktop.

Note: You can also open EPSON Smart Panel in Windows by selecting Start > All Programs or Programs > EPSON Smart Panel > EPSON Smart Panel. On Macintosh, you can open Smart Panel from the Applications folder.

3.	Click the Scan and Save button. You see the following window:

4.	Select a file format, location, and file name, then click the Scan and Save button in the bottom right corner. Smart Panel starts EPSON Scan, which automatically scans your image. (You see your image displayed in the EPSON Scan window.)

When scanning is done, ArcSoft PhotoImpression launches, and you see a thumbnail of your image. You can use PhotoImpression to enhance the image, add clip art or special effects, make photo projects like calendars or greeting card, or print, email, or upload the photo to an online photo sharing site.
