Windows requirements

To use this printer, your system should include:

A Microsoft Windows compatible PC with an 800 MHz or faster processor
Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, XP Professional x64, or Windows Vista.
256MB RAM for Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows XP Professional Edition (512MB recommended)
512MB RAM for Windows Vista (1GB recommended)
300MB free hard disk space (550MB recommended)
4× or faster CD-ROM drive for installing the software
A Windows-compliant UBS port and shielded USB "AB" cable up to 2 m long. Using an improperly shielded USB cable may cause the printer to malfunction

Macintosh requirements

To use this printer, your system should include:

An Apple Macintosh with a PowerPC or Intel processor
Mac OS X 10.3.9 to 10.5
256MB RAM (512MB recommended)
300MB free hard disk space (550MB reommended)
4× or faster CD-ROM drive for installing the software
A Windows-compliant UBS port and shielded USB "AB" cable up to 2 m long. Using an improperly shielded USB cable may cause the printer to malfunction
