Windows 2000:
Click Start, point to Settings, and select Printers. Then right-click EPSON WorkForce 1100 Series, select Open, right-click the stalled print job, and click Cancel and then Yes.
Note:
If you print continuously for a long period of time, the paper may temporarily stop feeding or the print head may temporarily stop moving in order to slow down the printing speed and prevent the printer mechanism from overheating and being damaged. If this happens, you can continue to print, but Epson recommends that you stop and leave the printer on for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, turn the printer off and on and it should print at normal speed.

Slow Printing
Make sure your system meets the requirements. If you’re printing a high-resolution image, you need more than the minimum requirements listed. You may also need to:
For the fastest printing, try these tips:
Choose the Black/Grayscale option in your printer settings if your document doesn’t include color.
For Windows, choose Draft for the Quality Option.
For Macintosh, choose Fast Economy or Economy for the Print Quality setting, or select High Speed.
Make sure Quiet Mode is not selected.
Click the Speed & Progress button in the Maintenance tab of the printer settings window and activate the following settings: High Speed Copies, Always spool RAW datatype, Page Rendering Mode, and Print as Bitmap. (For more information on each of these settings, click Help in the Speed & Progress window.)
Printing is Too Loud
If you’re printing on plain paper with Normal selected for the Print Quality setting, the printer prints at high speed. If you want to make the printing quieter, select the Quiet Mode setting. This slows the print speed.
Cannot Print Over a Network
You need to set up your software properly for network printing.
Note:
The printer comes with USB Direct Connect. Be sure to configure it properly when sharing the printer.
