A low ink
reminder appears if you try to print when ink is low, and you can
check your cartridge status at any time using a utility on your
Windows computer.
To check your cartridge status, double-click the product
icon in the Windows taskbar, then click the Details button in the window that
appears. You see a window like this:
Replace or reinstall any ink cartridge indicated on the
screen.
Note:
Depending on the color of the expended cartridge and how you are
printing, you may be able to continue printing temporarily.
Note: If any
of the cartridges installed in the product is broken, incompatible
with the product model, or improperly installed, Epson Status
Monitor will not display an accurate cartridge status.
To disable the low ink reminder, right-click the product
icon in the Windows taskbar and select Monitoring Preferences. You see a
window like this:
Deselect the See Low Ink
Reminder alerts checkbox at the bottom of the
screen.
To disable promotional offers, deselect the Display Epson Offers checkbox.
