Paper Jam Problems in the Rear Cover

If you see a message that paper has jammed in the rear cover, follow the steps here or on the LCD screen to clear the jam.

  1. Cancel the print job, if necessary.
  2. Press the buttons to release the rear cover and remove it from your product.


  3. Carefully remove any jammed paper from inside the product.


  4. Remove any jammed paper from the rear cover.


  5. Open the cover of the rear cover as shown.


  6. Remove any jammed paper from inside the rear cover.


  7. Close the cover of the rear cover and reattach the rear cover to your product.


  8. Follow the prompts on the LCD screen to clear any error messages. If you still see a paper jam message, check the other paper jam solutions.
