Locking the Projector's Power Button

You can lock the power button on the projector's control panel to prevent a child or anyone from using the projector.
Note: You can still operate the projector using the projector remote control.
  1. Press the  menu button on the projector remote control.
  2. Select the Settings menu and press Enter. You see this screen:


  3. Select Child Lock and press Enter.
  4. Select On and press Enter.
  5. If you see a confirmation screen, select Yes and press Enter. You must turn the projector off and then on again to enable the setting.
Note: To turn the projector on when this setting is enabled, you must press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds.
Note: If the Direct Power On setting is enabled, the projector turns on as soon as you plug it in even when the Child Lock setting is enabled.
