Projector Feature Settings - Settings Menu

Options on the Settings menu let you customize various projector features.



Note: Available settings depend on the current input source.
Setting Options Description
Geometry Correction Off Temporarily cancels the geometry correction
H/V-Keystone Lets you manually correct the angles of the horizontal and vertical sides
Quick Corner Select to adjust image shape and alignment
Curved Surface Select to adjust image on a curved surface
Corner Wall Select to adjust image on a curved surface with right angles
Point Correction Select to adjust image projected on a curved surface
Memory Save customized sets of settings to memory.
  • Load Memory: You can load a saved memory
  • Save Memory: Saves the current shape of the image you adjusted
  • Erase Memory: Deletes saved memory
  • Rename Memory: Renames a saved memory
  • Reset Memory: Reset all saved memories
Split Screen Divides the viewing area horizontally and displays two images side-by-side
Volume Varying levels available Adjusts the volume of the projector’s speaker system. You can also adjust the volume of the external speakers

HDMI Out Settings

Adjusts the HDMI Link options that allow the projector remote to control HDMI-connected devices that support the CEC standard

Device Connections: lists the devices connected to the HDMI ports

HDMI Link: enables or disables the HDMI Link function

Audio Out Device: selects whether to output audio from the internal speakers or a connected audio/video system

Power On Link: controls the projector or a linked device
  • PJ -> Device or Bidirectional: turns on the linked device when the projector is turned on
  • Device -> PJ or Bidirectional: turns on the projector when the linked device is turned on

Power Off Link: control whether linked devices are turned off when the projector is turned off

HDMI Out Settings: set when connecting multiple projectors of the same model

  • Power On/Off Link: Set to On to synchronize the power on/off operation of all projectors projectors
  • Terminal End: Set to On only for the projector at the end of the daisy chain
Lock Setting Control Panel Lock Controls projector button locking to secure the projector

Full Lock: locks all buttons

Partial Lock: locks all buttons except the power button

Off: no buttons locked

Brightness Settings Light Source Mode

Brightness Level

Constant Brightness

Selects the brightness mode of the projector

Light Source Mode: sets a brightness level (Normal, Quiet, Extended, Custom)

Brightness Level: adjusts the brightness when Light Source Mode is set to Custom

Constant Brightness: maintains a constant brightness level when Light Source Mode is set to Custom

Remote Receiver Front/Rear

Front

Rear

Off

Limits reception of remote control signals by the selected receiver; Off turns off all receivers
User Button Various options available Assigns a menu option to the User button on the remote control for one-touch access
Test Pattern Displays a test pattern to assist in adjusting the image
Memory Memory

Geometry Correction

Memory: Selects various memory options on the customized settings

Geometry Correction: select various memory options on the image shape settings

Content Playback Content Playback

Overlay Effect

USB Viewer

Plays back a playlist created in the Epson Projector Content Manager software

Content Playback: turns Content Playback on or off

Overlay Effect: adds color and effects to the projected image when Content Playback is set to On (not available when Edge Blending is set to On)

USB Viewer: selects a specific playlist from a USB device connected to the projector when Content Playback is set to On

Reset Resets all the Settings menu settings to their defaults except the following:
  • Audio Out Device
  • Power On Link
  • Power Off Link
  • User Button
  • Memory
  • Content Playback
  • Power On/Off Link
  • Terminal End
