Transporting This Product

If you need to transport the CX1500, carefully repack it using the original or equivalent box and packing materials.

Remove all paper from the sheet feeder and make sure that the CX1500 is off.

Open the scanner unit and make sure that the print head is in the home position on the right. If not, turn on the CX1500 and wait until the print head returns to the home position. Close the scanner unit, and then turn off and unplug the CX1500.

Secure the ink cartridge holder to the printer with tape as shown below, then close the scanner unit.

Close the document cover.

Unplug the power cord and disconnect the USB cable.

Connecting and Disconnecting the USB Cable

Remove the paper support, and close the output tray.

Attach the foam blocks or other protective material to both sides of the CX1500. Then place the CX1500, with its cables and attachments, in the box.

Keep the CX1500 level when you move it.

Note:

Do no forget to remove the protective materials and tape from the CX1500 before using it again.
