Disconnecting or Turning off the CX6600
For Windows XP
For Windows 2000
For Windows 98/Me
For Macintosh
Follow the steps below to turn off the CX6600 or disconnect it from your computer.

Caution:

When you're finished using the CX6600 with your computer, be sure to turn off and disconnect it properly following the steps in the sections below.
|

For Windows XP
|
Double-click the icon on the taskbar.
|
|
Select USB Mass Storage Device and click Stop.
|
|
Select USB Mass Storage Device and click OK.
|
|
Click anywhere on the dialog box.
|
|
Remove the USB cable, if necessary.
|
|
Turn off the CX6600.
|

For Windows 2000
|
Make sure that the memory card light is not flashing.
|
|
Turn off your computer.
|
|
Remove the USB cable, if necessary.
|
|
Turn off the CX6600.

Note:

If you turn off the CX6600 or disconnect the USB cable before turning off your computer, the "Problem Ejecting USB Mass Storage Device" window may appear.

For Windows 98/Me
|
Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
|
The My Computer window appears.
|
Right-click the Removable Disk icon, then click Eject.
|
|
Remove the USB cable, if necessary.
|
|
Turn off the CX6600.
|

For Macintosh
|
On the desktop, drag the removable disk icon into the Trash.
|
|
Remove the USB cable, if necessary.
|
|
Turn off the CX6600.
