Using the Start Button

Overview of the Start Button Features

You can open EPSON Scan, start scanning, and have the scanned image sent to a specific application, simply by pressing the Start button on your scanner. To use this feature, you need to install Start button compatible software and then set up the scanner's Start button. When you press the Start button. EPSON Scan starts as a stand-alone application or opens an application of your choice.

Note:

If you are operating your scanner over a network, you may not use the scanner's Start button in the ways described above. Refer to Network Scanning Procedure for details about network scanning.
