Creating Public Access Printers

Follow the steps below to configure an LPR printer at the server console.

NOTE:
If you have not finished the previous procedures yet, go back to "Creating Public Access Printers at the Server Console".

1. Select Remote (LPR on IP) Printer from the Configure Port Handler menu, then press <Enter>. The Configure Remote (LPR on IP) Printer screen appears.
   
   
   
   
2. Enter the IP address of the print server.
   
   

   NOTE:
   

   • Do not enter values larger than 233 in the first box (where 0 is placed in the dialog above).
   • Since the EpsonNet NDPS Gateway does not verify whether an IP address is valid or not, be sure to enter the correct IP address.

3. Press <Esc>, then select Yes to save changes.
   
   

NOTE:
Be sure to turn the printer with an internal print server off and back on to update the configuration.
