Using Options / Using the Automatic Document Feeder
The Automatic Document Feeder (B81334
) allows you to automatically load multiple-page documents into your scanner. This is particularly useful for OCR (Optical Character Recognition) scanning, or for creating an image database.
When you unpack your Automatic Document Feeder, make sure you have all the parts shown below. If any items are missing or damaged, contact your Epson dealer immediately.
Holds the paper that is loaded into the Automatic Document Feeder.
The paper path guide directs documents smoothly onto the scanner's document table. A spare paper path guide is included with the Automatic Document Feeder in addition to the one already installed. If the surface of the paper path guide becomes dirty, try cleaning it or replace it with the spare one. See Cleaning and Replacing the Paper Path Guide for details.
Place this mat over the document when loading documents manually.
