Scanning Basics

Scanning from the Manual Mode

The Manual mode allows you to make detailed settings. You can set parameters for a setting or select special functions provided with EPSON TWAIN to attain the highest quality scanned images.

Note:

Online help also provides you with information on settings. Click Help to access the online help.

You cannot scan an image which exceeds the available memory or disk space. If you try to scan a very large image, an alert appears on the screen.

Before scanning, be sure to calibrate your screen. For details, see Calibrating Your Screen.

After an image is scanned, be sure to save or export it.
