This Reference Guide is your on-screen guide to your EPSON STYLUS PRO 9000 printer. Look here for tips on color printing, easy-to-follow operating instructions, help with printer software, and solutions to printer problems. Whatever your question, you can find the answer you are looking for quickly and easily.

Before using the Reference Guide, you'll need to set up your printer as shown in the Assembly and Setup Instructions and Startup Guide.

Finding your way around

Product Information	Click to find detailed product information, such as printer specifications, EPSON special media and other consumable products, and printer parts.
The Control Panel	Click to find information on the control panel and use of the SelecType mode.
Printer Software	Click to find information on the printer driver and utilities.
Paper Handling	Click to find information on loading roll paper and cut sheet media. You can also obtain tips on using EPSON special media.
Maintenance and Transportation	Click to find information on replacing ink cartridges and the paper cutter, and transporting the printer.
Troubleshooting	Click to find solutions to problems you may encounter.

Back	Click to go back to the previous screen.
Help	Click from another page to view this section. Click Back to return to the previous screen.
Home	Click to return to the main menu.
Index	Click to view the index.
Navigation	Click to view a map of all the information available. Use the map by clicking the topic of information you want to find. The use of this feature may be limited by the type of browser you have. See Navigation limitation for details.
Search	Click to view the Search window, where you can find information by entering key words.
Top	Click to return to the top of the screen.
Up	Click to go up one level.
Highlighted text	Click highlighted text to follow links to other sections or to more detailed information.

Printing a section

To print the section you are viewing, click Print in your browser's File menu.

Solving display problems

If display problems occur, try clicking your browser's Refresh button, or Reload button.

Navigation limitations

In Windows, the Navigation feature works with version 4.0 and above of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator.

In Macintosh, the Navigation feature works with Netscape Navigator 4.0, however, it does not work with any version of Internet Explorer.

When a Navigation window is already open, clicking the Navigation icon in Internet Explorer 4.0 causes an error. To clear the error, click No, then close the Navigation window and click the Navigation icon again.

When a Navigation window is open, closing the Internet Explorer 4.0 main window causes an error. To clear the error, click No, then close the Navigation window.
