After you create a document in a software program, follow these steps to print it using the basic printer settings:

The Quality setting on this screen gives you the best combination of quality and speed for most prints. For the highest print quality (Photo RPM) on selected papers, click Advanced and see Customizing Macintosh Print Settings.
The automatic photo correction feature is not available with Mac OS X.
If you're using OS X 10.2.x, click the Print Center icon instead, then double-click Stylus Photo R380 in the Printer List window.

If necessary, you can do one of the following while monitoring the progress of your print job:
You can use advanced settings for color matching or printing at a higher resolution.
Note:
For the highest quality on selected papers, you can select Photo RPM (5760 × 1440) from the Print Quality pop-up menu. When you select Photo RPM, printing will take longer.
Note:
This feature is not available when you are printing borderless.
Press the Stop/Clear Settings button to cancel your print job from the printer.
When you start printing, a printer icon appears in the dock on the bottom of your desktop.
