Copier

How to Make Copies

Press the power switch to turn on the power. The Operate light will flash as the system warms up.

Make sure that the Operate light has stopped flashing.

Make sure that paper is loaded in the sheet feeder.

Select the size of the paper with the Paper Size button on the control panel.

Note:

The following sizes can be selected:
Metric: A4, B5, A6
US: Letter, Legal, Half Letter, 5 x 8"

If you are using Legal-sized paper, use the Automatic Document Feeder.

Select either Metric or US size in the Menu Mode (Control Panel Setting). For details, refer to Changing the Control Panel Settings.

Make sure the original is placed correctly on the document table.

Note:

With the Automatic Document Feeder you can copy a stack of originals automatically in a single operation. For details, refer to Using the Optional Automatic Document Feeder.

Use the control panel buttons to select B&W or Color, Copy Quality, Copies, Reduce/Enlarge and Lighter/Darker. For details, refer to Using the Control Panel.

Note:

When you are using the Automatic Document Feeder, the number of Copies will be automatically set to one even if you have a multi-page original document. You cannot change this setting.

Press the Copy button to start copying.

Note:

Press the Stop button to halt copying in progress. The sheet being copied will be ejected.
